En kun je stilstaan bij wat schoonheid is.
Of wat het hart maakt.
Associatie is wat het hart maakt.
Opening is wat het hart maakt.
Verruiming is wat het hart maakt.

Een vlinder landt op je schouder.
En je voelt dat het goed is.
Een meisje hinkelt op straat, en je voelt dat het goed is.
En je voelt dat je open gaat.
En je voelt dat het goed is.
Gisteren, vandaag, en morgen.
Associatie is wat het hart maakt.
Schoonheid.

En nog gerechtvaardigd ook volgens gedichtje dat je natuurlijk heel subjectief interpreteert.
Wij indo’s hebben zelfs van op de bank liggen een werkwoord gemaakt; ‘banken’. Waar ben je mee bezig ? Adoe zeg, even banken.
Enfin, was zo’n mooi gedichtje/vertaling dat maar een blogje aan gewijd voordat Studio Sport begint.

Hier de eerste regels:

Zolang iets in rust is, kun je het gemakkelijk beetpakken.
Zolang iets nog niet definitief is, kun je er nog vrij over nadenken.
Zolang iets broos is, breek je het gemakkelijk af.
Zolang iets klein is, is het eenvoudig op te lossen.

Reageer tijdig, voordat de dingen uitgroeien.
Ruim op, voordat er rommel ontstaat.

How lucky are Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Spain ! They will be the first to think out, work out, an alternative to working ever harder and harder, to being ever more and more efficient, to hysterically rooting out each and every iota of cost, at all costs. To dismantle ever hollower phrases as ‘taking your responsability’, ‘transparency’, and  ‘to serve you better’. To discover why and how we humans live together. To appreciate all of life’s phases. To rediscover the meaning of what government should be. To distinguish between quantity and quality. To favour a whole above a specialization.

While we in the North are ever-advancing on an extremist path which we blindly follow towards ever mounting piles of wealth and possessions (and let us also add -debts-). Some 2-300 years already. While we are unable to see multiple solutions. And so have lost the ability to choose, and so do harm to our bodies and minds. While we are trapped in a singular tunnel which we fathom but cannot grasp.

The mediterranean has given us the Greeks, the Romans, ‘La convivencia’ in Spain, the Renaissance (and the Furia Roja^*). Maybe it is getting set to show us something again.

Long live the mediterranean light ! Long live the mediterranean alegriá ^**!
While we in the north suffer from more and more alergiá.^***

In the summer of 2008 I was in Spain (in Malaga, near the citadel) the evening Spain beat Germany to win the European cup. (I was in Ronda when Spain beat Italy in the quarter finals, first victory over Italy in 34 years, the little fountain in the Plaza del Socorro was a bit destroyed.) Nadal had some splendid victories, and Alonso too. Zapatero said Spain would soon surpass Italy in average income per capita.

It was a glorious summer for Spain.

At the end of that summer some big building societies started to collapse and 5 years later all seems to have changed for the worse for Spain. Unemployment nearing 27 %, people put out of their houses, wage/pension cuts, and Rajoy hiding in Moncloa.

Germany the economic power-house of Europe, and set to dominate football the coming years.

But, luckily, by the time the economic crisis starts hitting Germany (and Holland and little lovely Austria and Finland) in earnest, Spain will start to recover.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we have a new king, Ajax league winners for the third time in a row , Sylvie left Raffy, Raffy now with ex of Khalid, Estelle still with Badr, Moszkowicz having probs, Eva still blonde, Sascha to leave, Annechien to come. And we have a ‘housing’ deal, a ‘social’ deal and a ‘healthcare’ deal. And (now with all them deals) you gotta help your granny because the state ain’t gonna do it no more.

Nunca he visto un equipo tan buena. Y he visto bastante partidos, torneos, equipos en mi vida ya media larga. Tanta cooperación, tanta espiritú de equipo, tanta determinación tranquila, tanta contról de balon, tanta movimiento libre y disciplinado. Tanta clase individuál.

Han jugado 11 partidos de knock-out en los ultimós 3 grandes torneos y adivina cuantos goles han tenido en contra ?
La respuesta: 0 ! Este ya no es una manera de jugar, este es puro zen. Kudos, chapeau, ¡ buen hecho hombres !

Zullen we maar gelijk voorspelling voor september doen ?

• Es ist vorbei mit geertie, max 17-19 zetels, geen kantelpositie meer, in goed hedendaags nl: “We hebben het even helemaal gehad met die roeptoeter van een geertie, da’s 3 keer niks”. Waarschijnlijk is hij ook niet sterk genoeg meer om anti-Europa sentiment te leiden.
• VVD wordt (veel) te weinig electoraal afgestraft voor puinhoop van rechts waarbij we onze vingers kunnen aflikken. Onbegrijpelijk eigenlijk, tenzij er natuurlijk meer rijke dan niet-rijke mensen in nl wonen.
• SP groot, grootste. Slaagt er niet in kabinet te formeren.
• Pvda niet teveel haast hebben, er buiten blijven geen ramp. CDA komt beetje terug gelukkig.
• Kunduz wordt nieuwe regering. Go Alexander go, eis belangrijke posten op; soc. zaken + onderwijs als eerste. Geef samen met GroenLinks (CDA+CU doen wel mee) rustig tegenwicht aan al te rechtse eco. ideetjes. Die hebben het nu al zo’n 10+jaar (stiekum) mogen doen terwijl wij over hoofddoekjes etc. zaten te praten en zie het resultaat. Hou Dhr. Kamp por favor buiten de deur. En banksector is aan vernieuwing toe, wordt te groot zonder bijhorende verantwoordelijkheid.
• Eindelijk komt EU serieuzer op verk. agenda. Werd tijd.

PS: Ik had ooit op een koude winterdag in de tuin voorspeld dat de VS Irak niet zouden binnenvallen. Omdat er geen legitieme reden voor te vinden was. 2 maanden later, het was inmiddels wat beter weer, vielen ze Irak binnen.
