U, ja u, leeft in interessante tijden.
Hetgeen in Chinees taalgebruik , meestal, een kleine vloek, verwensing inhoudt.
Een tijd van toenemende geopolitieke acronymen.

Hoe staat het ervoor met al die acronymen ?
Hoeveel staan er op uw lijstje en hoeveel ervan kent u, kent u goed ?

Hoe staat het ervoor met de G7, de G20, SCO, RCEP, ASEAN, EAEU, BRICS, de nieuwe BRICS11 ?
De EU (anyone) ?
En nog wat meer.

Een vrolijke wereld als het de meeste ervan wat beter gaat.
Menschweis, getalsmatig gezien.

Het lijkt er een beetje op alsof Francis Fukuyama’s End of History [1] een beetje voorbarig was en u misschien the end of 5 centuries of western dominance aan het meemaken bent.
U leeft in interessante tijden.

It is very practical and not hazy.

And, graceful, to the point, answering of questions.

What is it that the Mahabarat is trying to show us ?
What is the message of the Mahabarat ?
Name two charachteristics specific, distinctive, for India.

How come we have difficulty with diversity ?
Do we need a judge ?
Who is the we in the two sentences above ?

NB1: Titel blogje enigzins aangepast, is een beetje clickbait. Maar is voor een goed doel zullen we maar zeggen.
NB2: Van Kishore Mahbubhani is ook de uitspraak: “The rest is not out to replace the West. But to join the West” .
NB3: Van Sun Tzu, de oude auteur van de befaamde krijgskunde klassieker “Art of War” (ca 500 BC) is de uitspraak “de wijze krijgsheer wint de oorlog zonder de oorlog te voeren” .
NB4: In de Indiase klassieker de “Bhagavad Gita” (Lied van de Heer) (ca 500 BC) legt Krishna uitgebreid, en op verschillende nivo’s, uit hoe de boogschutter Arjuna een goed leven kan leiden. Schijnbaar, moet ik nog eens opzoeken (tsr), zegt Arjuna op het eind dat hij het nog niet goed begrepen heeft en gaat Krishna het in een ander boek nog eens uitgebreid uitleggen . Sommige zaken zijn nou eenmaal moeilijk te begrijpen (of uit te leggen).

For centuries (before the advent of the aeroplane) you to came to Europe, either by boat, or thru Russia, or thru Turkey crossing the Bosphorus (700 metres at it’s narrowest point) with a little boattie . If you left Europe the same applied of course. This being a bit of a laboured introduction to the fact that Turkey and Europe are neighbours. And have been for a long time (duh ?!).
